As an avid waterfowler, I have the opportunity to get very close to waterfowl if I play my cards right when out in the field or marsh. This past fall, I was able to put down the shotgun and bring up the viewfinder up to my eye. Just like with a gun, there is a moment between the shot and the sound of the camera. And there is nothing that moves in that moment. Not the bird. Not the shutter. And in that moment you see every feather. Hear every heartbeat. Feel every breath. And it's in that moment that you realize, the only thing in the universe that's been moved, Is you. #11.
These photographs have been adjusted using Photo Shop using the time machine filter. Go back to the future in 1855 to 1890 when the Albumen developing technique was used by photographers. This technique really brings out the different colors of feathers on geese along with making the pictures look timeless.
These photographs were taken when the summer weather created the right conditions for a beautiful double rainbow over the golden fields of corn. With bright blue skies coming, I sure did not have much time to photograph these rainbows.
#2. Same scene with alittle post processing work.
This past fall the rainy weather caused flowers along country roads to blossom in bright colors of yellow and blue. These pictures were snapped with a beautiful blue sky in the background that featured puffy white clouds.
