Last year, over 500 entries were submitted for the contest and I was selected too so having a photograph selected two  years in a row is awesome.

"Along for the Ride" was taking with the D90 and 18-105mm lense on the last day of the 2011/2012 duck season at Bays Branch as my hunting partner and boss tossed out the last decoy for the year. With fog rolling off the water, it was quite the scene to see as we heard ducks quacking in the fog above.

I have been able to create a calendar that is sure to be a favorite of golfers that have played Lake Panorama National G.C. over the years. From the dead of winter covered in snow to the rich colors of autumn leaves, I’ve been able to capture the true beauty of the golf course in all different seasons.

2013 Calendar - Iowa's Countryside

For 2013, I have created a calendar that really showcases what Iowa has to offer as far as the scenes that you might see driving through the country side. It starts off with scenes from a chilly river during winter to the heat of the sun during the summer and the autumn glow of a farmers harvest in the fall.

2013 Calendar - The Pursuit of Waterfowl

Is there anything better then the sound of whistling wings over head of your blind? If you are a waterfowler, you know what type of feeling that is and I’m glad to share those scenes I’ve been able to capture from the blind. From spring snow goose hunting in warm weather to late season Canada’s in the snow, my camera is beside me and ready to capture the amazing sights of duck and goose hunting.

2013 Calendar - Iowa Hawkeye Football

Each fall, thousands of Iowan’s travel to historic Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City to cheer on their beloved Iowa Hawkeye Football team. On a Saturday in 2012, I was along the sidelines with my camera capturing the scene of big time college football. If you are an Iowa Football fan, this is your calendar to look at the sights of Kinnick year around. Enjoy scenes though out 2013 from the tigerhawk on the outside of the gates to right next to the players as they enter the field as “back in black” is playing.
